The Fishing for Success program is designed to provide fishing and other related activities as the "hook" to introduce youth (including "at-risk" groups) to many different aspects of fisheries, environmental sciences, and other vocational/educational opportunities.
Fishing for Success is a cooperative program working jointly with the University of Florida/IFAS Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Alachua County Sheriffs Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC), and the Gainesville Police Department.
